Dear parent / carer,

Please note the following:

The crossing patrol (lollipop man / lady!) job has been re-advertised by Torfaen. Free lollipop and high-vis jacket as part of the deal!! Interested in helping out and making some money? Follow the link! (scroll down the left) Closing date 13^th Dec.

Not only do we not have a crossing patrol, but, unfortunately, we continue to have our children (and their parents / carers) put at greater risk through some pretty dangerous and ignorant parking / driving. A mother contacted me yesterday to tell me that her child had almost been run over on the pavement. Please don’t park on the pavement, respect the yellow zig-zags and, more importantly, please respect the other parents and children trying to get to school safely.
I have had several parents asking me whether the school has a PTA. We do, but it is exclusively manned by the teachers and support staff as the parents have long since gone! Given the approaches, this seems a good moment to ask for offers of help and start things rolling again in terms of parental support. Let me know if you are interested and we’ll set something up in the New Year to share ideas and sort some events out.
Quick reminder about the pantomime - £15.00 per child asap or let us know if your child isn’t going.
